Securitize Integrates With UAE’s ADI Chain for Tokenisation

Securitize, the tokenisation platform, is integrating with ADI Chain, the UAE institutional blockchain, the ADI Foundation. Once the integration is complete, eligible tokenised financial products issued through Securitize may use ADI Chain infrastructure where product structure and regulatory and jurisdictional requirements permit.

Key Takeaways

Securitize, the tokenisation platform, announced on 30 September 2026 that it is integrating with ADI Chain, the UAE institutional blockchain that is the settlement layer for the DDSC dirham stablecoin.

Eligible tokenised products issued through Securitize may use ADI Chain where product structure and regulatory and jurisdictional requirements allow. No product has been named and nothing is live yet.

It follows Securitize’s 3 September MoU with Dubai’s VARA. Neither announcement names a UAE-regulated product that will launch.

What ADI Chain is

ADI Chain is an institutional blockchain built by ADI Foundation, initiated by Sirius International Holding, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC). It is the settlement layer for DDSC, the dirham stablecoin IHC launched with First Abu Dhabi Bank. ADI Foundation completed a $50 million strategic financing round in July 2026, with investors undisclosed, and its chief executive is Andrey Lazorenko.

The integration connects Securitize’s tools for issuing, managing, distributing and trading tokenised securities with ADI’s ecosystem for tokenised assets, regulated digital currencies, payments and settlement.

What was announced

Carlos Domingo

Carlos Domingo, Securitize’s co-founder and chief executive, said:

“We see the UAE as a natural hub for connecting investors across these markets with regulated financial products from around the world,” pointing to the Global South, which he described as home to 85% of the world’s population and some of the fastest-growing communities of new investors.

The announcement carries conditions. The integration doesn’t guarantee that any Securitize product will launch on ADI Chain, deployment depends on regulatory, product and jurisdictional requirements and on investor eligibility, and the integration itself doesn’t establish access to investors in those markets, according to Crypto Times’ reading of the announcement. No specific products are named, and no products are live on ADI Chain through the integration.

How this fits Securitize’s UAE activity

On 3 September, Securitize signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) to build out regulated tokenised markets in Dubai. That agreement and this integration are separate: ADI Chain is built by an Abu Dhabi group, and the announcement doesn’t say which UAE regulator would oversee any product issued on it.

What’s next

The first product to be issued through Securitize on ADI Chain, and the regulator it falls under, are the details that would turn this from an infrastructure announcement into a market. Neither Securitize nor ADI Foundation has given a timeline.

FAQs

What is ADI Chain? An institutional blockchain built by ADI Foundation, initiated by IHC’s Sirius International Holding. It is the settlement layer for DDSC, the dirham stablecoin launched by IHC and First Abu Dhabi Bank.

What does the Securitize integration mean for investors? Nothing is available to investors yet. The integration allows eligible tokenised products issued through Securitize to use ADI Chain where regulation, product structure and investor eligibility permit, and no products have been named.

What is tokenisation? Recording ownership of a financial asset, such as a fund, bond or share, as a digital token on a blockchain so it can be issued, transferred and settled electronically.

Has Securitize done anything else in the UAE? On 3 September 2026 it signed an MoU with Dubai’s VARA to support regulated tokenised markets in Dubai, without naming a product or launch date.

Editor’s Take: Securitize announced an integration with ADI Chain and named no product, no timeline and no UAE regulator. The strongest connection is that ADI Chain already settles the DDSC dirham stablecoin, so any Securitize product that does move onto it would sit on the same chain as a regulated dirham payment token, with the settlement side already in place.

The least firm part is the market pitch: Securitize’s reach into Global South investors through the UAE is a stated aim, and the announcement itself says the integration doesn’t establish investor access in those markets. What stays open is which product comes first and whether it falls under VARA, which signed a separate MoU with Securitize on 3 September, or another UAE regulator.
